Complementing her natural grooming talents through training and competition Kellie has won several awards including the best creative groomer, people's choice awards, and many 1st place awards in Terrier "hand stripping". Kellie continued her education with ISCC where she received the title of Terrier Master Groomer. Kellie brought her experience and training to our local pet community opening her first shop in 1996, and Well Groomed Pet Spa in 2005. Kellie's philosophy is focusing on the importance grooming has on the pet's health and well-being, as well as looks and style.

In order to meet our clients’ expectations our staff must operate as a well-run machine, this is done by our office manager Sonia. Sonia trains and develops our customer service team, meets and greets our clients and their furry companions and handles much of the outside communication. She manages the day-care crew and boarding staff, maintains the grooming schedules and ensures each pet's safety and comfort throughout the day. If you need something...don't hesitate to ask Sonia.

One of our top and senior groomers is Julia. Julia began grooming in 2009 and brings both and talent and style to the Well Groomed team. Julia loves the creativity that grooming and styling allows. She is an all-breed groomer but especially loves to groom Poodles as they offer her the most challenge in diversity and style. As an artist, Julia loves the innovative and unique coloring and design of creative grooming. Working with pet safe, vegan, non-toxic dyes, Julia has created some of our most trendy looks.

Ozzy began working as a bather in 2010 and worked his way to learning to groom in 2012. Ozzy loves adding his personal touch to every groom. With the relationship building he learned as a bather, he has been able to bring that tenderness to his grooming table building trust and companionship with each pet. Ozzy and Julia have a small group of daycare dogs in their room, which offers a stress-free and friendly environment for both dog and groomer.

Elmer started in the support staff role in 2012. Shortly after, he began studying under master groomer Kellie. Like all the staff at Well Groomed, Elmer is a dog owner and animal lover, bringing that extra care and touch to each pet he grooms. You can often find him soothing the dog or stroking its neck to ensure that the dog is comfortable and feels safe at every point during the session.
